Arrive at Bandaranayake International Airport and transfer privately to Negombo. Spending the day relaxing at the beach or hotel pool after your journey. In the evening, enjoy a gentle seaside walk followed by a welcome dinner. Overnight in Negombo

Drive to Sigiriya with a visit to the UNESCO-listed Dambulla Cave Temple en route. Explore the ancient cave shrines adorned with Buddhist murals and statues. In the evening, enjoy a village walk or a traditional Sri Lankan cooking experience. Overnight stay in Sigiriya

Climb Sigiriya Rock fortress or Pidurangala Rock early in the morning for stunning sunrise views. Experience rural village life through nature trails and a bullock cart ride. The afternoon is free for leisure or spa relaxation. Overnight in Sigiriya.

Transfer to Kandy, stop at a spice garden to learn about Sri Lanka’s participation in the spice trade in the past. The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is one of Buddhism’s most important places. You may see it in Kandy. Finish the day with a traditional Kandyan dance show.

Transfer to the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, which is famous for its collection of orchids and landscaping from the colonial era. Take a picturesque drive or rail ride to Nuwara Eliya, going past tea plantations that were built during British control. Go to a tea estate to discover how Ceylon tea is made and try some.

Visit Horton Plains National Park, which is protected by the Department of Wildlife Conservation. It’s known for the World’s End escarpment and Baker’s Falls (optional). Or, take a leisurely stroll around Nuwara Eliya town and stop by Gregory Lake. The day lets you choose between mild activity and relaxation.

Transfer to Ella by car or by train along one of the most beautiful journeys in the world. Check out the famous Nine Arches Bridge, a railway wonders from the colonial era. Take a short climb to Little Adam’s Peak in the evening to see the sunset over the valley.

The Department of Wildlife Conservation runs both Yala and Udawalawe National Parks. You can drive to either one. Take a jeep safari in the afternoon to see elephants, leopards, deer, crocodiles, and many different kinds of birds in their native habitats. Spend the night in nature near the park.

Transfer to Galle and see the famous Galle Fort, which was established by the Portuguese and later strengthened by the Dutch which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a guided heritage walk, shop at boutiques, and watch the sunset from the ramparts. Spend the night at Galle or Unawatuna.

Enjoy a relaxing day in Sri Lanka’s beautiful southern coastline, surrounded by golden beaches and turquoise waters. You may choose optional activities such as snorkeling, seasonal whale watching or a rejuvenation spa treatment. Alternatively, spend the day at leisure, soaking up the sun or strolling along the beach. Overnight stay in Unawatuna, Mirissa or Bentota.

Have another relaxing day at the beach or select from extra activities like a lagoon boat safari, a visit to a turtle hatchery, or biking through coastal communities. These activities give you a look into the ecosystems around the shore and how people live in the area.

Colombo is a great place to ease back into city life. Take a leisurely tour in the city that includes colonial-era buildings, temples, local markets, and modern neighbor hoods. Finish the trip with a goodbye meal that features Sri Lankan delicacies. Stay the night in Colombo.

Take a private ride to Bandaranaike International Airport to leave. Leave Sri Lanka with memories that are shaped by culture, nature, and travel experiences that stay by your side long after you leave.
