Travel through Sri Lanka’s Scenic countryside toward Kandy the island’s last royal capital. Along the way, enjoy changing landscapes of villages, plantations and rivers. Being the day with a visit to the temple of the sacred Tooth relic, one of the most revered Buddhist sites in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue to the royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya, known for its orchids, towering palms and serene landscapes. Guests may choose to join an optional traditional craft or handicraft workshop to learn local artistic skills. Later, enjoy a guided nature hike through the Udawattakele Forest Reserve, a peaceful sanctuary rich birdlife and native flora.

Depart from Kandy and travel to the cultural triangle region of Sigiriya Rock . In the afternoon, climb Pidurangala Rock, a quieter alternative offering panoramic sunset views of the surrounding plains and the iconic Sigiriya rock fortress. Later, visit the nearby village to experience authentic rural life, simple interactions, traditional practices and local hospitality.
